Day 1 - Saturday July 2, 2011
The NSNA Retreat is happening at the Patriots Theater at the War Memorial in Trenton, NJ. Built in 1932, as "a great community center dedicated to the memory of the soldiers and sailors from Mercer County who died fighting World War I," this 1,807-seat, fully-equipped theater is a National and State Historic Site that is owned by The State of New Jersey and operated by The Department of State.
Mr. V.Veerappan, is the chief guest at this year's NSNA retreat in. Mr. Veerappan resides in Bangalore, India and is a successful entrepreneur. Read more about him at - http://achi.org/retreat-chief-guest
The day kicked off with a nice welcome dance by NY/NJ nagarathars.
Then we had songs and dance performances by various regions. I can highlight a few of the performances.
