| Share autos slash fares to stay in race Mar 25, 11 |

It is good news for commuters. The fare for share autos and taxis has been slashed. Face with stiff competition and loss of business due to the Tata Magic vehicles, share autos have slashed their fares. The new slabs are Rs 3, 5, 7 and 10. The minimum has come down from Rs 5 to Rs 3 and the maximum from Rs 15to Rs 10.
The share auto drivers say that this has been received well by the public. They also say that these rates were prevalent more than a decade ago.
