| 3 new medical colleges for TN Jan 10, 11 |

Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala, in his address to the Assembly yesterday, informed that three new medical colleges, an agriculture college, a separate university for horticulture, a university for Indian medicine and Homeopathy and fine arts and science colleges will be set up in the state.
The agricultural college will be set up in Kivalur, in Nagapatinam district, and the university for Indian medicine and Homeopathy will be set up in Kanyakumari district along with 28 similar private colleges.
