| More special trains to Nagercoil, Kumbakonam Oct 15, 09 |

CHENNAI: Southern Railway is to run additional special trains between Chennai Central Nagercoil (via. Erode) and from Chennai Central to Kumbakonam (via. Erode) to clear the extra rush of passengers.
The train (0627) will leave Chennai Central at 7.40 pm on October 17 and reach Kumbakonam at 6.25 am the next day.
In the return direction, the train (0628) will leave Kumbakonam at 4 pm on October 18 and arrive at Central at 3.45 am the next day.
The train (0605) will leave Chennai Central at 10.20 pm on October 19 and arrive at Nagercoil at 1 pm the next day.
The train (0601) will leave Central at 8.30 pm on October 19 and reach Nagercoil at 12.20 pm.
In the return direction, the train (0602) will leave Nagercoil at 4.30 pm on October 20 and arrive at Central at 8.30 am the next day.
Advance reservation will commence on October 15, according to a Southern Railway press release.
