| Trust donates essentials to school Oct 6, 09 |

Steel benches and desks were donated to Saraswathi Ambal Primary School at Thiruvaiyaru by Lakshmana Chettiar of Sri Annamalai Chettiar Sivakami Achi Trust at Thiruvaiyaru recently. The trust has also renovated the first floor of the school with new tiles. Musical instruments like veena, violin and mrithangam were also presented. Kumarasamy Thambiran of Dharumapuram adheenam appreciated the trust for its services. Lakshman Chettiar also distributed prizes to students. Sevu kan Annamalai, President of Thanjavur Newtown Rotary Club, former presidents Edward Arogyaraj and Ramasamy, G. Lakshmi Narayanan, Assistant Education officer of Thiruvaiyaru, participated.
