Bank introduces a set of new facilities for Non-Resident Indians  Oct 1, 09
 
RAMANATHAPURAM: S. Selvarajan, Chief Manager, Punjab National Bank (PNB), Tiruchi circle said that it had introduced a set of new facilities exclusively for non-resident Indians (NRI).

Speaking at a NRI customers’ meet held here on Tuesday, he said the method of opening new accounts for NRIs had been simplified. They could download the application form and submit through internet. Instructions had been given to the bank officials to clear the applications for new accounts as quickly as possible. A team had been allocated in branches for dealing the NRI accounts. A few loan schemes for NRIs had also been introduced. Loan applications would be cleared quickly to meet the customers’ requirement. The NRIs could utilise the services of PNB well.

M. Selvaraj, Senior Manager, Circle Officer, Tiruchi, Thirumavalavan, Marketing Officer, D. Anbu and R. Jeyaraman, Branch Managers of Ramanathapuram and Karaikudi spoke.
