Tasty Snack, all time favorite, served hot with chili or tomato chutneys.
 
Required Ingredients:
 
1.Raw Rice(pacharisi) - 1 cup
2.Urud dhal(uluntham paruppu) - Little less than ¼ cup
3.Salt - As required
4.Oil - for frying
 
Cooking Instruction:
 
1. Soak raw rice and urud dhal in water for ½ hr.
2. Drain the water and grind it into a thick paste.
3. Transfer the batter to a vessel.
4. Keep it inside the refrigirator for half an hour.
5. Take it out and add milk or water and dilute it. Add salt and mix well.
6. Heat the oil in a tawa (wok).
7. Pour the batter with a small ladle like spoon.After a minute it will raise like pooris and the ends will be like the petals of a flower.
8. Now turn to the other side and allow to fry for a minute.
9. Drain the oil and keep it on a plate that is lined with a paper towel.
10. Transfer to a serving plate.
