Kumbabhishegam will be performed for Arulmigu Meenakshi Chockalingeswarar nagara Kovil Arulmigu Nei Nandeeswarar kovil ) by Nagarathars.
Ghee is offered to Nei Nandeeswarar by the devotees and is smeared on the statue of Nandhi daily. The ghee after abishegam, is collected and stored in a well of 6 feet depth called Neikkinaru (well of ghee) located in the easanya moolai of the temple. Neither single ant nor a fly could be seen. It is a wonder which speaks volumes of the grace of Lord Shiva |
