BIOGRAPHY OF HIRANYA We received an email from Hiranya's mother Nagu highlighting about Hiranya's achievements. Nagarathargateway.com republishes the email sent by Nagu & wishes the best to Hiranya and hopefully many kids will follow and take Hiranya as an inspiration - Editor Hiranya is 14 years old, studying in 9th Std in Global Indian International School, Singapore. At present, she is learning Vocal Carnatic Music and Light Music. Hiranya is the first person to release CD Album at such a tender age (six years old) on 23.11.2007. The CD Album consists of 5 Vedas followed by 9 Bhajan songs sung by her. It is really a big achievement. Title of the album is "MAZHALAI KULANDHAIYIN MANGALA KUZHALOSAI".
Subsequently, she was called for an audition by one of the local companies in Singapore. She got through the audition and has sung a song for one of their youth albums as well.
Title of the album is "Illamai Jolly Jolly".
Later in September 2011, a Cine co. In Chennai named SuperGood Films has released another CD Album of Hiranya which consists of Devotional songs alongwith the collaboration of Tiruchendur Temple in TamilNadu. Title of the album is "Mahishasura Mardhini Stotram". Recently, Tamil Language song sung by Hiranya (Tamil Thai Vazhthu) is uploaded in the repository of Ministry of Education, Singapore in May 2013. Hiranya started singing in Temples when she was close to 3 years during Navratri Festivals. From the age of 3, during Navratri festival, she sings in various temples in Singapore and JB. Apart from this she has also performed and chanted Veda in Chennai, India in the midst of 2000 people which was highly appreciated by the audience. She has given her stunning performance in chanting Veda Mantras in Singapore Sai Centre, Chennai Sai Centre and some temples in India as well. She does it in School Assembly too. Hiranya has given her wonderful singing and dance performances in Madhavi Illakiya Mandram, Bishan CC, Toa Payoh CC, Moulmein CC, Singapore Food Festival (performed with Dhwani Group, India), Singapore Expo etc. Hiranya started learning Vocal Carnatic Music when she was 3 years old with Ms. Bhagyamoorthy and at 6, she joined SIFAS for Keyboard.
AWARDS WON BY HIRANYA · Consistently for 2 years, she has been awarded “Justice C.S.Dharmadhikari Award”from her School, which is Co-curricular Excellence Award in 2009 and 2010. · She has won Silver Award in the English Essay Writing Competition conducted by “Royal Commonwealth Society, London” in Nov 2010. · She has been certified as the “Youngest Scientist” in the year 2009 and 2010 bySingapore Science Centre for her achievements in Science. · “Youngest Recording Artiste” certificate was presented to her for setting a New Record in Singapore and incorporating her name in SINGAPORE BOOK OF RECORDS in the year 2008.
